Why Join an Eagle Expedition?

1. You love the great outdoors.

If spending several days, distraction free, in a beautiful setting while tackling legitimate challenges as a team fires you up, then you should join an Eagle Expedition.

2. You’re looking for an epic Big Fitness Goal (BFG).

Eagle Expeditions are held in bucket-list destinations and are truly Big Fitness Goal worthy. Plus, we give you a 6-week training plan to help you prepare for the challenges ahead.

3. You want to challenge yourself and grow.

An Eagle Expedition is tough. It’s not a nature walk or a leisurely 4 days outside. The grit, teamwork, and determination to accomplish the day's objective make an Expedition what it is. It will be tough but as a team you share that struggle, just as you share the view atop the mountain, just as you share that rewarding plunge in crystal clear waters, just as you share the bonds forged through these challenges.

FAQ

  • Applications remain open. If an individual who was accepted can no longer attend an Expedition, applicants from the waiting list will be contacted.

You may apply to any and all Expeditions. Selections should be ranked with the trip you’d like to attend most being your first selection.

The waiting list will be used to fill spots up to 4 weeks before an Expedition starts.

  • Upon acceptance to an Expedition, you will receive information on registering using the Classy fundraising platform.

Each Expedition in 2024 has a $250 registration fee with $50 due at time of registration. The entire fee can be fundraised or paid out of pocket. Fundraising is the preferred method as it may not only help fund the Expeditions program, it creates awareness of the adventure you’re about to take part in.

  • The individuals who will be leading Expeditions are trained guides.

Guides are veterans/service members, and members of the Team RWB community.

Guides are trained in wilderness medicine

    • All applicants will be notified by EOD, Friday Feb 9.
