Although lodging is indoors and packs will be lighter, the altitude is real. Even hiking above 5,000 ft can feel noticeably harder—and at 10,000 ft, hikers can experience exhaustion, light-headedness, shortness of breath, and dehydration.
Conditioning is mandatory.

“It was the jump start I needed which provided me with a sense of purpose and a mission. Health and wellness is something I have control of which doesn’t require someone else approval to do. This Expedition was an example of there isn’t a limit to what it is I’m capable of doing once I’ve set my mind to accomplishing it.”
