Dr. Mary E. Kreis, a former U.S. Army Major, has seamlessly blended her military service with academic and athletic pursuits. She's completed 21 ultramarathons, 55 marathons, and numerous other endurance events. Mary's dedication to fitness and education is evident in her role as a college professor and her extensive list of athletic achievements, including cycling across the USA and leading an all-military adventure racing team.

Jason Wood, a U.S. Army veteran with three combat tours, found healing and purpose through endurance challenges after struggling with PTSD and other issues post-service. He's completed numerous ultra-distance events, including running 150 miles in 48 hours on a treadmill for charity.
