Icy Crossings
4-12 DEC 2026
CONOPS
Concept of Operations
Situation:
On a freezing Christmas night in 1776, General George Washington led a daring and desperate maneuver that would turn the tide of the American Revolution. Battling snow, ice, and brutal winter winds, the Continental Army crossed the Delaware River under the cover of darkness launching a surprise attack at Trenton, NJ that reignited hope for independence.
That night became a symbol of American grit: when the odds are stacked, when the cold bites hard, we press forward together.
This December, Team RWB honors the 250th anniversary of Washington’s legendary crossing with movement, resilience, and a little controlled discomfort.
Mission:
Complete a 2.5-mile run in honor of the 250 years since the Crossing of the Delaware. And, if you’re feeling bold, finish with an optional cold plunge.
Share your photos in the Team RWB Member App and on social media using #TeamRWB.
TASK
Complete the Workout:
Run 2.5 miles (one-tenth mile for every decade since December 1776)
Bonus: Celebrate the spirit of the icy Delaware with a cold plunge to test grit, discipline, and mental toughness.
