Situation

Two hundred forty-eight years ago, delegates of the Second Continental Congress declared independence from Britain, uniting the Thirteen Colonies and making them free, independent states.

Celebrate Independence Day (4 July) with a little Eagle Fire! Dust off your running shoes and break a little sweat to commemorate this day.

Mission

Unite, sweat, and celebrate by completing the Firecracker Run between 4 - 11 July.

Task

Run or walk 7.4 miles in honor of our nation’s birthday.

Other Ways to Participate

  • Want to host your own Monthly Mission event? Here’s how to create your own member-hosted event in the app so fellow Eagles can find and attend.

    STEP 1: Open the Team RWB Member App and select Events on the bottom navigation menu.

    STEP 2: Click the red plus button near the bottom of the screen.

    STEP 3: Enter the information for the event. Be sure to include “Firecracker Run” in the event title so Eagles know it’s a Monthly Mission event. Once complete, click Create Event. That’s it, you made an Event!

  • Can’t attend your chapter’s event? That's ok! You can participate virtually in 3 easy steps:

    STEP 1: Open the Team RWB Member App and select Challenges on the bottom navigation menu.

    STEP 2: Look at the Active Challenges and select the Monthly Mission event of your choice.

    STEP 3: Once you’re in the Challenge, click Events and “Check in” on the correct Date so you get your Monthly Mission badge. That’s it!
