John Reyes

John Reyes, recently retired from the Army after 21 years of service. He served as an infantryman and deployed seven times. John is a Purple Heart recipient and earned several awards for valor during his time in service.

John joined Team RWB in 2014 as a volunteer athletic director for Colorado Springs. He later served as the chapter captain in 2020. He was featured in the Runner’s World magazine December 2016 issue and spoke about Team RWB.

In addition, John co-authored the book “Angels in Sadr City” about one of his deployments.

Outside of work, John spends time with his daughter Aria and enjoys rucking, hiking, grilling, working out, or spreading “eagle fire.”
