Overview

A four day, three night backpacking trip in one of the crown jewels of America’s National Park system.

Over the course of this Expedition, Eagles will cover roughly 35 miles of Washington backcountry, collectively gaining over 6700’ of elevation. It’s a challenge worth every step with visits to emerald alpine lakes, views of glaciers and jagged peaks, and the accomplishment of working through two mountain passes to complete the trek.

  • Known as the “American Alps”, boasts over 300 glaciers

  • Rugged terrain, glacier fed lakes and streams, ridiculous views

  • Basecamp the night prior to stage and prep

  • Deep valleys, emerald lakes, gushing rivers and cascading waterfalls.

Itinerary

Itinerary Overview

The trek will begin along the Pacific Crest Trail before peeling off into the National Park. The first three days will feature anywhere from 8.5-10.5 miles with an easier hike out on the final night. Camp will be made alongside alpine lakes

(subject to change) 

Prerequisites & Requirements 

  • Backpacking experience required

  • All backpacking gear is required

  • Bear cans can be provided if you do not have one

  • This is a strenuous backpacking trip

  • Eagles should be in great physical shape and be well acquainted with backcountry travel
