Become an Eagle Expedition Guide
11 - 14 April 2024 | Camp Eagle | Rocksprings, TX
Overview
Calling all veterans who’ve experienced transformation through outdoor adventure. We want you to answer the call and become an Eagle Expedition Guide. This is a new program we’re offering that combines leadership, trails, challenge, and growth. If you’re a veteran who loves the outdoors and knows each person has the potential to overcome challenges, apply today!
About
As an Eagle Expedition Guide, you will be tasked with planning and executing epic multi-day adventures that challenge the body, humble the spirit, and insight growth within each individual on the trail. With the support of Team RWB, Guides will be trained in two main categories: Resilience/mental toughness and Expeditionary leadership/execution. Guides who attend the in-person training will be equipped with a curriculum that will help deliver discussions and reflections as it pertains to strengthening the veteran from the inside. The curriculum will also include guidance on planning and safely executing an Eagle Expedition.
You are an experienced outdoors person. You understand that spending time in the backcountry is NOTHING like being in the field while in the service, and additionally, you value the opportunity to share iconic landscapes, challenge, and solitude with fellow veterans.
Those who are accepted to become Guides are required to attend the in-person training on 11-14 April 2024 at Camp Eagle in Rocksprings, Texas.
Application
Applications are open 17 NOV through 8 DEC 2023. Guide interviews will take place the weeks of 11 DEC and 18 DEC 2023.
Applicants will be notified by 5 JAN 2024 if they have been selected or not.

“I met a great group of Eagles and felt an instant, natural connection with fellow veterans who enjoyed the outdoors, enjoyed the challenging physical activity, and enjoying sharing laughs and struggles together.
For any Eagle out there, new or having been around for a number of years, I encourage you to reach outside your comfort zone and sign up for an expedition that interests you!”
