Ben Powers

Ben Powers serves as the Director of Eagle Alliance at Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB), where he is building and scaling a member-centered program that connects Veterans, their families, and their communities to external resources for needs Team RWB does not directly provide. He builds repeatable, privacy-forward pathways so members can access the right support with confidence.

Prior to Team RWB, Ben served 14 years as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces before medically retiring due to combat injuries. He deployed across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, supporting high-risk operations, earning honors including the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Parachutist Badge, and a Saint Philip Neri Award nomination. Selected ahead of his peers to lead Sensitive Activity teams, Ben operated at the tactical edge while briefing at the strategic level—supporting Chiefs of Mission and Geographic Combatant Command leadership.

After the Army, Ben spent three years at a global professional services firm supporting an enterprise software partnership across North America and advising Fortune 500–level leaders in complex stakeholder environments.

Ben is a proud father of two grade-school children. He has volunteered in support of veteran transition and community development through fundraising, speaking engagements, and mentorship, and supported clean-water access efforts—successfully summiting Mount Kilimanjaro as part of that work. Raised in a military family, he’s lived a life that includes Texas ranches, Alaska ski mountains, and the Woodward Dream Cruise. Outside of work, he speaks Russian and completed his first private pilot solo in 2011.
