Overview
Since 1989, the Army ROTC Department at the University of New Mexico has sponsored the Bataan Memorial Death March to honor the US and Filipino POWs who were forced to march 65 miles in the jungles of the Philippines during World War II. Roughly 10,000 of them died on the March. In 1992, the New Mexico National Guard and White Sands Missile Range joined in the sponsorship and the event was moved to the White Sands Missile Range.
Team RWB has long had a presence at this incredible event. This year we’re taking it to the next level by offering you the chance to fundraise for our nation’s veterans. Those who commit to the fundraising minimum will be given a FREE entry. If you already have an entry, you can fundraise only and still earn FREE, exclusive Team RWB Bataan Memorial Death March swag.

There is a $400 fundraising commitment for anyone who wishes to ruck and raise during the Bataan Memorial Death March with Team RWB.

The 2024 Bataan Memorial Death March is on 16 Mar 2024 at the White Sands Missile Range in White Sands, New Mexico.

The Bataan Memorial Death March organizers do not currently offer an option for organizations to purchase charity bibs. So, to help our fundraisers, we are purchasing their bibs so there is no upfront cost.

Yes! We are currently planning a Team RWB social for all fundraisers the night before the Bataan Memorial Death March. Details coming soon!
