Laura Werber

Laura’s love of hiking, coupled with her research on veteran reintegration, led her to join Team RWB in early 2013. She has been part of the Los Angeles Chapter’s volunteer leadership team since May 2013. Laura also supports the veteran community as a member of PsychArmor’s Faith Leaders Advisory Committee. She is a Senior Management Scientist at the RAND Corporation, a non-partisan, nonprofit research institution, and also a Professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. At RAND, she conducts research in the public interest and trains Ph.D. candidates to do the same. Laura is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and earned a Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Stanford University. An avid fitness enthusiast, she also holds a NASM Certification for Personal Training and spends her free time training for challenging hikes such as Mts. Kilimanjaro, Whitney, and Rainier. Laura is a Jersey Shore native, but has been a proud California resident for over 20 years.
