Douglas McCormick

Doug McCormick is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at HCI Equity Partners and oversees the origination, management and development of the Firm’s investments. Mr. McCormick leads the firm’s investment initiatives in the commercial aerospace, defense, distribution and industrial packaging industries. Before joining HCI Equity, he worked at Thayer Capital Partners and the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley & Co., where he was involved in the completion of numerous mergers and acquisitions and acquisition-related financing transactions. Mr. McCormick previously served as a Captain in the U.S. Army’s 25th Infantry Division receiving numerous awards to include Runner Up in the 1995 Best Ranger Competition. Mr. McCormick received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
