Chris Sloan
Chris Sloan is a Pittsburgh native who now resides in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is retiring from the Army after 26 years of service, 19 in special operations as a psychological operations noncommissioned officer.
He has multiple deployments to Central, South, and Southeast Asia and spent seven years in Korea for a total of 119 months overseas. He is an alum of Norwich University, Appalachian State University, and the University of Maryland-University College and is dedicated to being a life-long learner.
Chris joined Team RWB in 2012 in Fayetteville and went on to establish the Korea Chapter in 2013. He has held most of the chapter Eagle Leader positions and also serves as the Chapter Captain in Fayetteville and Team RWB Ruck Group Coordinator.
Chris enjoys traveling, running, rucking, and hiking with his wife and daughter. He has competed in more than 25 marathons and ultramarathons, including running the Boston Marathon in 2019.
