Team RWB Partners With Eagle Up Ultra to Support the Health and Well-Being of American Veterans

Grit. Guts. Endurance. These are just a few traits to embrace during the Eagle Up Ultra, unofficially the world’s largest 24 hour ultra event. Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB) is fired up to return as a beneficiary of the race.

The Eagle Up Ultra, sponsored by Hoist Hydration is a 24 hour endurance race with options to complete 100 miles, 100 kilometers (62 miles), the 50/50 ([50 Miles, then 50 Kilometers), 50 miles or 50 kilometers (31 miles), competing as an individual or relay team.

“Eagle Up Ultra was by far the most friendly, supportive, and community-oriented running experience I have ever had. My goal was simply to finish my first 50k, and I did it.” said Christina Monroe, a Team RWB volunteer.

Team RWB members and veterans make up the majority of participants and it’s no surprise. Tackling an ultra race takes dedication, determination, and the mindset to push mental and physical limits - qualities that are ingrained in service members.

“There were times when I felt like giving up, but underneath that surface feeling, I knew that I had my Team around me to help keep me going. The race organizers are pros; they know what they're doing. I couldn't have asked for more,” said Monroe.

Runners from across the globe gather at St. Helena Heritage Park in Canal Fulton, Ohio to circle a five-mile loop along the scenic Ohio Erie Canal and Tuscarawas River.

Registration is open for this year’s race being held June 4 - 5. Team RWB members can apply a discount with code teamrwb125.
