Moving Forward: Celebrating a Year of Impact

Team RWB Staff at the University of Health and Performance, Oct 2024.

Eagle Nation,

The holiday season is in full swing and 2025 is right around the corner.  This year, Team RWB’s programs touched the lives of over 22,500 veterans — and those aren’t just numbers, they’re real Veterans who are reclaiming their health, finding purpose, and forging relationships with their teammates.

Your support has made it all possible, and now we have the data to show it.  Earlier this year, we tracked 50 new Eagles for 6 months.  Through blood tests (InsideTracker) and the Enriched Life Scale (self-assessment of a person’s health), the results are powerful:

• 68% improved their BMI
• 41% reduced at-risk blood biomarkers
• 80% reported more enriched lives – from stronger relationships to better mental health

If you've been considering supporting a nonprofit this year during this season of giving, I hope you consider investing in Team RWB. Every dollar invested directly supports programs that are enriching Veterans' lives.

As we look forward to 2025, the year is shaping up to be maybe our biggest yet. We’ll celebrate our 15th Anniversary — by returning to where it all began: the Twin Cities Marathon. In 2010, I ran that course wearing an Eagle shirt and carrying our flag, joined by some friends who wanted to support veterans. Today, we’ve grown into a community, over 250,000 strong, and it’s all thanks to you — the Veterans, volunteers, donors, and supporters who make up Eagle Nation. Together, we've built something extraordinary, and our journey is still just beginning.

If you’re reading this and wondering how you can soar in 2025, I hope you consider setting a Big Fitness Goal (BFG). It’s not about climbing the tallest mountain or running an ultra-marathon — it’s about becoming a better version of yourself by training for an event that will push you to stay committed to a healthy life.

Every transformed life, every milestone achieved, and every connection forged this year was made possible by the incredible individuals who pour their heart and soul into Team RWB. Our community is growing because of you, the dedicated volunteers who give their time, the generous donors who believe in our cause, the committed partners who stand beside us, and every Eagle who shows up to uplift fellow Veterans. You are the driving force that propels this mission forward and ensures we can continue positively impacting the veteran community and the country.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season!
