Big Fitness Goal

What’s a Big Fitness Goal?

A Big Fitness Goal (BFG) is a publicly declared fitness goal that requires significant training and commitment to achieve within the calendar year.

We encourage all Eagles to take on a BFG each year.

Why take on a BFG?

1. You’ll be better for it.

Being physically active has many benefits to both your physical and mental health.

2. There’s power in accountability.

Research from the American Society of Training and Development found that people are 65% more likely to meet a goal after verbally sharing it with others.

3. You’ll inspire others.

By tackling your BFG, you will set an example and become a source of inspiration for others.

  • Run the Berlin Marathon in October as a Team RWB Soaring Eagle

  • Ruck 50 miles with 35lbs

  • Row a 5K immediately followed by a 5K run in 42 minutes or less

  • Bike 60 miles in one day

  • Complete 5 strict pull-ups in a row

Need Help Picking a BFG?

Here are a few ideas from veterans.

Declare Your BFG

Once you choose your BFG, it’s time to share it! Log in to the Team RWB Member App to declare your BFG and connect with thousands of members already working toward their BFGs.

Take on Your BFG

No man is an island. Share your journey on social media and in the Team RWB Member app for accountability as you train up and tackle your BFG.

No matter where you’re starting from, Eagle Nation’s got your six.

Your BFG can make an impact!

That’s right. We’ll help you turn your BFG into a fundraiser to help support America’s veterans.

Our Soaring Eagles program provides charity bibs for epic events like the Marine Corps Marathon, NYC Marathon, and runDisney races.

Our goal for 2024 is to raise at least $10,000 from BFGs for America’s veterans. Will you help?
