Organizational Structure

The Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Executive Staff provide guidance, resources, and oversight. In keeping with our mission to connect veterans to their community, most of our programs are developed and delivered at the local level.

Chapters and Communities deliver consistent, local opportunities for veterans and the community to connect through physical and social activity that include weekly fitness activities, monthly social events, and participation in local races.

A Team Chapter (red flag) is a Community that is delivering our full complement of programs to include referred veteran engagement (small group or 1-on-1) based upon strong relationships with local veteran referral sources.

A chapter consists of critical leadership positions:

Chapter Captain
+
Overall responsibility for chapter conduct and mission accomplishment
+ Recruits and manages other staff members
+ Assists Outreach Directors in establishing and growing key relationships
+ Maintains consistent communication with national headquarters
+ Controls chapter expenditures

+ Establish relationships with veteran referral sources
+ Captures and measures impact

Community Outreach Director

+ Responsible for chapter communications
     • Manage social media – Facebook, Twitter, etc.
     • Work closely with Veteran Outreach to tell our story

Athletic Director
+

+ Plans and conducts weekly fitness activities
+ Coordinates chapter participation in local events
     • Communicates with chapter members

Social Director
+

Our current chapters are always looking for great volunteers to be a part of the Team. We are also building new chapters across the country.
